KWAME OBED ATTA DECLARED WANTED BY WINNEBA POLICE OVER FRAUD ALLEGATIONS

A young man’s life has been turned upside down after being defrauded of GHS 33,000 by someone he once called a friend — Kwame Obed Atta.

Kwame approached him years ago, claiming he needed capital to start a business. Trusting his story, the victim took a loan from UEW Credit Union in his own name and handed the money over to help. Sadly, it was all a scam. Kwame never started any business — instead, he used the funds for online fraud and disappeared from town immediately after receiving the money.

Despite being deceived, the victim worked tirelessly to repay the loan. He traced Kwame, seized a vehicle he was using, and sold it to reduce the debt. Yet, due to interest and time, the loan has risen again to GHS 28,000.

The case has since been officially reported to the Winneba Police Station, and Kwame Obed Atta has been declared wanted. The victim has provided all necessary evidence, including bank records and reports, and now seeks public support — both in helping locate Kwame and in sharing his story to help clear the growing debt.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of Kwame Obed Atta, report to the nearest police station or contact the Winneba Police Command immediately.
