CEO of Oyeman Autoimmune Foundation Commiserates with Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings Over Mother's Passing

The CEO of Oyeman Autoimmune Foundation, Sweetness Danso, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings.

In a heartfelt message posted on her official Facebook handle and monitored by EKAE Media, Sweetness recounted how the news was broken to her at a joyful family event, where celebration suddenly turned into sadness.

She reflected on the late Nana Konadu’s legacy, sharing personal memories from their time at Achimota School, noting with pride that they were both members of Kingsley House. She also recalled the presence of Amina Rawlings, daughter of the former First Lady, during their school days and the admiration she had for the Rawlings family even in their youth.

Sweetness extended her condolences to Hon. Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, Member of Parliament and daughter of the late stateswoman. She praised Dr. Zanetor for her unwavering support and advocacy for autoimmune patients in Ghana, especially lupus patients — a cause close to Sweetness' heart.

"Today, I mourn with her for this great loss. My heart goes out to you, Senior Sister. You stood firm and fought for us. We cherish and stand with you. We pray that God grants your mother peaceful rest and comforts you and the family through this bereavement," she wrote.

The touching tribute from Sweetness Danso has since garnered emotional reactions online as many also join in mourning the iconic former First Lady.
