Ghanaian TikTok Star Osanju’s Funeral Details

The funeral of Ghanaian TikTok sensation Elvis Frimpong, popularly known as Osanju, is set to take place on October 4, 2025. The announcement follows his sudden passing on September 1, 2025, after a prolonged battle with leukemia. 

Osanju garnered over 1 million followers on TikTok and was celebrated for his comedic content and candid discussions about his health challenges. He publicly disclosed his leukemia diagnosis in 2023 and remained active on social media, sharing his experiences and engaging with fans. 

His death was confirmed by close friend and collaborator Ama Yeboah, who shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram.The news shocked fans, especially given his recent online activity, including a video reacting to a Barcelona soccer match just hours before his passing.

Winneba: Police foil attempted robbery at bank

  The Anti-Armed Robbery Response Unit (AARU) of the  Ghana Police Service  has foiled an attempted robbery at the Microfin Rural Bank in Winneba, Central Region. Police said at about 1am on Friday, August 15, 2025, the bank’s alarm was triggered, drawing the attention of a patrol team on duty. The team, sensing unusual activity, proceeded to the bank to investigate. “On reaching the location, they were met with sporadic gunshots from the robbers. After a brief exchange of fire, the gang bolted, leaving behind one pump-action gun and other implements,” the police stated. The AARU team retrieved the weapon together with an empty cartridge from the scene. Preliminary investigations suggest that about five armed men were involved.
