Man Allegedly Murders His Own Sister to Steal Her Belongings To Impress Girlfriend


 In a heartbreaking story that has shaken many, a young woman known simply as Agnes has reportedly been brutally murdered by her own biological brother — all to steal her phone and cosmetics, allegedly to gift them to his girlfriend.

Agnes, admired for her vibrant personality and dedication to her small but growing cosmetics business, was discovered lifeless in her car, where it’s believed she was en route to deliver products to clients.

Social media is flooded with sorrow, disbelief, and anger, as users mourn her tragic passing and express outrage over such a betrayal coming from a blood relative. Many are struggling to make sense of how envy and greed could lead someone to commit such an unthinkable act.

  Agona Nyakrom Tradtional Area has successfully concluded its annual Akwanbo Festival 2025 with a strong call from its traditional leader for greater recognition and development. The theme for this year’s celebration was “Salvaging Declining Social Values: A Shared Responsibility of Government & Traditional Rulers.” The week-long event drew thousands of indigenes, visitors, and dignitaries, filling the town with cultural display, unity, and a renewed sense of purpose. Winneba: Police foil attempted robbery at bank

  The Anti-Armed Robbery Response Unit (AARU) of the  Ghana Police Service  has foiled an attempted robbery at the Microfin Rural Bank in Winneba, Central Region. Police said at about 1am on Friday, August 15, 2025, the bank’s alarm was triggered, drawing the attention of a patrol team on duty. The team, sensing unusual activity, proceeded to the bank to investigate. “On reaching the location, they were met with sporadic gunshots from the robbers. After a brief exchange of fire, the gang bolted, leaving behind one pump-action gun and other implements,” the police stated. The AARU team retrieved the weapon together with an empty cartridge from the scene. Preliminary investigations suggest that about five armed men were involved.
