The newly confirmed Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Effutu Municipality, Hon. Rev. Atta Mensah, has taken to Facebook to express his heartfelt gratitude to the President of Ghana and the Honourable Assembly Members for entrusting him with this prestigious role.

In his post, Hon. Rev. Atta Mensah described June 5th, 2025, as a remarkable day that will be forever etched in his memory. He attributed his confirmation to divine providence, stating, "This achievement is truly a testament to the divine—truly, the God of Zion is the Lifter of Men!"

With an overwhelming 100% endorsement from the Honourable Assembly Members, Hon. Rev. Atta Mensah's confirmation is a testament to his leadership abilities and the trust placed in him by his peers.

As he embarks on this new chapter, Hon. Rev. Atta Mensah is filled with gratitude and excitement, ready to lead and represent the Presidency and Local Government in the Effutu Municipality. Agona Nyakrom Traditional Council Issues Strong Warning Over Agona Abodom’s Attempted Breakaway

  The Agonaman Traditional Council has firmly addressed recent developments in Agona Abodom, declaring that there is currently no officially recognized chief in the town. At a press conference held at the Agona Nyakrom Palace, the Council described the individual currently parading himself as chief of Agona Abodom as an imposter, emphasizing that he has not been accepted or sworn in by the Agona Nyakrom Traditional Council, as custom requires. In their address to the media, the Council emphasized that any traditional leader found to be an accomplice to this illegal enstoolment will face the appropriate consequences.
