 - Faustina Okwailey Aryitey, Effutu NADMO Director

Effutu, a vibrant community in Ghana, is indeed a melting pot of diverse populations, as aptly described by Faustina Okwailey Aryitey, the Effutu NADMO Director.

According to her, "Effutu Is A University Community, Fishing Community, Farming Community and Traders  Community." This diversity presents a unique opportunity for economic growth and development.

The Effutu Municipal Assembly (EMA) recently hosted a stakeholder meeting on June 13, 2025, to discuss the construction of a model 24-hour economy market in Winneba. After deliberation, the meeting unanimously agreed that the market would be built at Winneba Junction, a bustling area with existing businesses and market women.

The NADMO Director emphasized that the assembly's vision for the 24-hour economy market is to harness the potential of Effutu's diverse communities, including the university community, fishing community, farming community, and traders community. She also assured that the old main market in Winneba will remain operational even after the new market is completed.

This initiative is expected to bring numerous benefits to the residents of Effutu, providing opportunities for economic growth and development. With its strategic location and potential for economic growth, the 24-hour economy market is set to improve the lives of residents in Effutu.
