Pregnant BECE Candidate Delivers Baby Boy During Exam


A pregnant student taking the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in Ghana has made headlines after delivering a healthy baby boy during her IT exam at Asenua Presbyterian Junior High School in Mamponteng, Ashanti Region. The student, whose identity has not been disclosed, went into labor while being escorted to the washroom by a policewoman assigned to the exam center. The pastor of the Asenua Presbyterian Church, who happened to be nearby, used his private vehicle to transport the student and her newborn to Victory Hospital in Mamponteng, where they are currently receiving medical attention.
