Nana Aduokuah III Launches Foundation to Support Elderly in Gomoa Benso

On Saturday, March 1, 2025, the queen mother of Gomoa Benso in the Central Region of Ghana, Nana Aduokuah III, launched her brainchild, the Nana Aduokuah Old Age Foundation. This noble initiative aims to provide vital support to the elderly in the Gomoa Benso community.

The foundation's mission is to alleviate the financial burdens of the elderly by covering their medical expenses and providing additional forms of support. During the launch, Nana Aduokuah III made a passionate appeal to Gomoa Benso natives living in the diaspora to donate generously to this worthy cause.

  The Agonaman Traditional Council has firmly addressed recent developments in Agona Abodom, declaring that there is currently no officially recognized chief in the town. At a press conference held at the Agona Nyakrom Palace, the Council described the individual currently parading himself as chief of Agona Abodom as an imposter, emphasizing that he has not been accepted or sworn in by the Agona Nyakrom Traditional Council, as custom requires.
