EFFUTU MP, HON.AFENYO MARKIN UNVEILS NEWLY CONSTRUCTED 6-UNIT CLASSROOM BLOCK FOR A.M.E ZION SCHOOL, WINNEBA

In a heartwarming display of commitment to education, Hon. Alexander Afenyo-Markin, Member of Parliament for Effutu constituency and Minority Leader, has commissioned a brand-new 6-unit classroom block for AME Zion School in Winneba.

The ceremony, which took place on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., marked a significant milestone in the history of the school and the community. The new classroom block is a testament to Hon. Afenyo-Markin's dedication to providing quality education and improving the learning environment for the children of Effutu constituency.

The 6-unit classroom block is fully equipped with modern amenities, providing a conducive learning environment for the students. The facility is expected to alleviate the issue of overcrowding and provide a comfortable space for teaching and learning.

  The Agonaman Traditional Council has firmly addressed recent developments in Agona Abodom, declaring that there is currently no officially recognized chief in the town. At a press conference held at the Agona Nyakrom Palace, the Council described the individual currently parading himself as chief of Agona Abodom as an imposter, emphasizing that he has not been accepted or sworn in by the Agona Nyakrom Traditional Council, as custom requires. In their address to the media, the Council emphasized that any traditional leader found to be an accomplice to this illegal enstoolment will face the appropriate consequences.
