KWAW KESE’S FAMILY SETS DATES FOR MOTHER’S FUNERAL

The sun may have been shining brightly on May 18th, 2025, but the atmosphere was heavy with grief as the family of Ghanaian hip-life musician Kwaw Kese gathered at Mahodwe in Agona Swedru. The occasion was a somber one – to set the date for the funeral of the late Evangelist Christina Addo Alians Esi Maame, Kwaw Kese's beloved mother.

As the family and friends converged to pay their respects, the air was thick with emotion. The weight of their loss was palpable, and the sorrow was almost tangible. Kwaw Kese, known for his energetic and lively performances, was visibly shaken, and his pain was shared by all who attended.

The gathering was a testament to the impact Evangelist Christina Addo Alians Esi Maame had on those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues came to mourn with Kwaw Kese, including notable creative art personalities like Bisa Kdei, Dr. Poundz, DJ Ashmen and among others. As the family announced the dates for the funeral – Friday, May 23rd to Sunday, May 25th, 2025 – the sense of loss was tempered by the knowledge that they would come together again to celebrate Evangelist Christina's life. The funeral will take place at the late Evangelist's residence in Mahodwe, Agona Swedru.

Agona Nyakrom Traditional Council Issues Strong Warning Over Agona Abodom’s Attempted Breakaway

  The Agonaman Traditional Council has firmly addressed recent developments in Agona Abodom, declaring that there is currently no officially recognized chief in the town. At a press conference held at the Agona Nyakrom Palace, the Council described the individual currently parading himself as chief of Agona Abodom as an imposter, emphasizing that he has not been accepted or sworn in by the Agona Nyakrom Traditional Council, as custom requires. In their address to the media, the Council emphasized that any traditional leader found to be an accomplice to this illegal enstoolment will face the appropriate consequences.
