“Goat Meat in High Demand Than Cows" - Young Bucha Sadick Reveals



In an exclusive interview with Emmanuel Kwesi Aboagye Essibu, Sadick Abubakar, a young and ambitious Bucha, shared his insights on the booming demand for goat meat. However, he also highlighted the significant challenges he faces in meeting this demand.

When asked about the hurdles he encounters, Sadick responded candidly, "Getting quality goats to buy is tough. Goat meat is in high demand, but sourcing the animals is a struggle."

Sadick further explained that the high cost of goats compared to cows poses a significant challenge to his business. "One goat can cost around GHc1,000, so five goats would be GHc5,000. Meanwhile, a single cow can cost GHc5,000 and provide more meat."
